Bonus

To support French breeding and the National Hunt racing industry, AKTEM has introduced unique bonuses that reward all participants.

Young National Hunt
Horses Bonus

Dedicated to young National Hunt French horses, sold through AKTEM as in utero, foal, yearling, or store (2- or 3-year-olds), and winning a Group race in England or Ireland:

Group 3

€10,000, including the Liverpool Grand National, excluding Group 3 Handicaps.

Group 2

€20,000; or €10,000 if the horse has already received a Group 3 bonus.

Group 1

€30,000; or €20,000 if already received a Group 3 bonus; or €10,000 if already received a Group 2 bonus.

Bonus distribution :

  • 100% of the bonus is paid to the breeder if he is also the selling owner.
  • 50% to the breeder and 50% to the selling owner when the two roles are distinct.

Super Bonus

With a total of €1 million, the Super Bonus is designed to reward French National Hunt performers sold through AKTEM that achieve the Cheltenham Gold Cup – Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris double in the same year under the same trainer.

In case of a win, the bonus is distributed as follows :

For horses sold as horses in training :

  • €400,000 to the purchasing owner
  • €350,000 to the selling owner
  • €150,000 to the post-sale trainer
  • €50,000 to the post-sale trainer’s staff
  • €50,000 to the trainer at the time of sale

For horses sold in utero, as foals, yearlings, or stores (2- or 3-year-olds):

  • €400,000 to the purchasing owner
  • €350,000 to the selling owner
  • €150,000 to the post-sale trainer
  • €50,000 to the post-sale trainer’s staff
  • €50,000 to the consignor
